July 4, 2024 Denver, CO, – This year’s Indy Eve celebration in Denver will feature a dazzling display of innovation, replacing traditional fireworks with a record-breaking drone show.
The event, organized by the Civic Center Conservancy, reflects a growing trend across the country as cities opt for environmentally-friendly and noise-free alternatives to fireworks displays.
The show, designed and executed by Brightflight Drone Shows, will be the largest Denver has ever seen, with a staggering 300 drones lighting up the night sky.

Safety remains a top priority for the drone pilots. Tom Dolan, owner of Brightflight Drone Shows, emphasizes the meticulous planning that goes into each performance. Using specialized software, Dolan creates a 3D flight plan for every drone, ensuring they maintain safe distances and create stunning formations.
As dusk settles, the pre-programmed drones take flight in a mesmerizing display of synchronized movement and color.
“For us, safety is paramount,” says Dolan. “We follow strict Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines for speed and separation between drones.”
Advanced GPS technology ensures each drone knows its precise location and role in the aerial performance.
This innovative celebration promises to be a memorable highlight of Denver’s Indy Eve festivities.
