Jeter lets go of his fairytale Greenwood Lake property

Former New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter is selling his grand estate on Greenwood Lake in Orange County, New York. The property, which includes a 9,000-square-foot castle nicknamed “Tiedemann Castle,” has found a buyer for $6.5 million. Jeter originally listed the estate in 2018 for a much higher price of $14.75 million.

The sprawling estate includes various amenities besides the castle, such as guest houses, boat and pool houses, an outdoor kitchen, a lagoon, and even a replica of the Statue of Liberty. Jeter acquired the property in the early 2000s and invested significantly in renovations.
