Police arrested pop star Justin Timberlake early Tuesday morning in the village of Sag Harbor, New York, for driving under the influence (DUI). Timberlake was pulled over after officers observed his 2025 BMW run a stop sign and swerve out of its lane.
Pop superstar Justin Timberlake, a 10-time Grammy Award winner, walked free on Tuesday after facing arraignment for driving under the influence (DUI) in Sag Harbor. Timberlake’s night out in the Hamptons took a turn when police pulled him over for running a stop sign and swerving out of his lane.
Following his arraignment, Timberlake was released without bond and is scheduled to return to court on July 26th. While his lawyer confirmed Timberlake won’t need to appear in person for the next hearing, representatives for the singer haven’t responded to requests for comment.
The news of the arrest sparked a frenzy in Sag Harbor, with curious onlookers flocking to the town’s main street throughout the day to snap photos outside the courthouse.
This incident occurred around 12:30 am in the posh Hamptons summer destination. According to court documents, officers stopped Timberlake’s vehicle and determined he was intoxicated.
